CPA firm in Green Bay, WI is looking to add a full-time accountant.
The successful candidate will perform a wide array of bookkeeping / accounting functions while interfacing with clients and coworkers daily. Candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with bookkeeping and tax compliance. Must be versatile and extremely organized. This position requires efficiency in a fast-paced profession with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include handling of highly sensitive, confidential material. Able to effectively and professionally communicate with clients and staff
Accounting or related education ? 4-year degree preferred
3+ years experience
QuickBooks experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Process client payrolls in QuickBooks
Process and submit payroll tax payments
Process and prepare quarterly and year-end payroll tax filings
Prepare year-end 1099 filings
Pay vendor invoices
Prepare company invoices
Bookkeeping for clients and firm
Assist clients with accounting and QuickBooks questions
Other projects as needed
