Senior .net Software Engineer Job Opening in Woodbridge, New jersey - We are a privately held software company which helps corporations manage and control their real estate leases by tracking real estate expenses, managing legal terms, centralizing documents, providing key reports and more. We are looking for a top-notch, experienced programmer to play a senior role in our development process. Our development team works closely with our real estate experts to design and build powerful, yet easy to use web-based software to manage commercial real estate leases.
Being part of a small team means having a lot of responsibility, and a lot of influence over the development process. You will be directly contributing to the success of the team and the company in a highly visible way. As a key member of the team, you will be working with talented developers to develop cutting edge applications using the latest in web development and database technologies and the Microsoft stack.
All members of our engineering team enjoy some flexibility in work hours and the privilege of working from home at least one day per week.
Responsibilities: Participate in the software development process through the entire system life-cycle, including:
Database design and application development for new and existing applications
System design and architecture support
Database mapping and migration
Systems integration
Operations and implementation support
Research and implement new technologies
Reporting, dashboard and BI design and development
Troubleshoot reported customer technical issues
Requirements:
Expert / MVC developer with at least 5 years? experience
Expert C# developer with at least 5 years? experience
Expert with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and jQuery
Advanced SQL Server developer including T-SQL with at least 3 years? experience
Experience with WebAPI and/or RESTful APIs
Experience working in an Agile Scrum team environment
Experience with MVVM UI Frameworks such as KnockoutJS or Angular
Experience with responsive design
Track record of delivering robust, intuitive, and user friendly applications
Strong written/verbal communication and time management and skills
Motivated self-starter and critical thinker with proven problem solving abilities
Proactive in keeping up with latest web technologies
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
Desired Skills:
Experience in report, dashboard and BI design and development
Experience using Pentaho BI & Reporting Platform
Experience using ETL tools and/or modeling data warehouses
Experience with SQL Server CDC (Change Data Capture) or Temporal tables
Experience with 3rd party toolkits such as Infragistics
Experience with BPM / Workflow tools such as
Experience working with Visual Studio Team Services or Team Foundation Studio
Experience with Unit Testing frameworks and automated testing tools
Real estate or accounting industry experience
