Location: Jacksonville, FL
The Director of Total Rewards will report directly to CHRO. The position will be responsible for providing leadership, vision, and oversight to the design, development, and implementation of enhancements to the company?s overall benefits, compensation and rewards programs. This role is strategic, analytic, and operational in nature.
The Director is responsible for the design, oversight and administration of all employee compensation and benefits programs. This would include developing the appropriate salary infrastructure and leveling for the organization, salary administration, executive compensation and recognition programs. This role is also responsible for developing, recommending and implementing creative and cost effective new, or modified plans and policies that provide a competitive employee value proposition and are sound business decisions for our company. The Director, will supervise the administration of all plans, propose changes, ensure Regulatory compliance and ensure effective HRIS Director will oversee the compensation function; planning, developing and implementing employee and executive compensation programs, establishing programs to support the organization?s goals and competitive practices. The Director ensures data integrity as well as compensation and benefit plan compliance with the company?s policies, procedures and stays abreast of all applicable local, state and federal laws.
The Director of Total Rewards will be a strong advocate and keeper of Healogics culture; will be responsible for building a strategy to strengthen the overall total rewards offering to attract and retain high caliber talent.
Annually analyzes the company benefits and compensation programs, policies, and structures. Recommends and implements changes.
Administers compensation programs, including salary structure adjustments, merit and incentive pay and equity programs, designing, implementing communication strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and other aspects of the compensation program.
Playing a critical role in the due diligence process and comprehensive review of all compensation and benefit plans for new ventures, mergers and acquisitions.
Ensures applicable regulatory and department standards are adhered to on an on-going basis.
Efficiently manages work flow and deadlines, performs short and long term planning, makes policy and program recommendations, and new approaches, policies and procedures to support continuous improvement.
Consults with internal business partners, including department heads and management, to assess benefits, compensation and compliance needs.
Provides education, mentoring and training to HR staff on processes and professional practices within the total rewards process.
Developing pay banding tiers at all levels within organization using benchmark data and market analysis.
Developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy for compensation and benefit programs and identifying opportunities to better enable the company to improve employee engagement, facilitate proactive and effective messaging and cadence as well as support the company?s growth and strategic plan.
Administers employee benefit programs, including designing and implementing communication strategies and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
Analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates a comprehensive employee wellness program, designed to improve employee wellness and safety and address rising medical and workers' compensation costs.
Analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates employee recognition programs.
Analyzes employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D, disability, leave of absences, and 401K plans. Recommends and implements changes.
Oversees the management of our benefits vendor relationships, benefits contracts, and bid negotiation.
Required to research and make recommendations on 401K and insurance plans.
Evaluate competitor compensation and benefits packages.
Creating policies and procedures applicable for toward reward programs.
Monitor the payroll interface to ensure compliance and data integrity.
Proactively monitoring all regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., reporting, disclosure, procedures) for compensation and benefits programs (e.g., minimum wage, FLSA, ERISA, PPACA, GINA).
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 8+ years in roles of increasing complexity developing and implementing diverse compensation & benefits plans (Healthcare experience strongly preferred).
5+ years? experience developing executive and team based compensation plans
CCP, CEBS, or SPHR certification(s) preferred
Expertise in designing compensation and benefits plans, as well as negotiating and administering healthcare and retirement plans.
