Clerical / Administrative - Account Management Representativ... Job Opening in Wichita, Kansas - An Account Management Representative manages client accounts in regards to responding to requests for quote proposals, initial plan set up and enrollment, and ongoing enrollment maintenance of health benefits.
Essential Functions:
Assume responsibility for an assigned block of business and see each group through the lifecycle - RFP, sold case, enrollment, renewal, and ongoing maintenance
Review Request for Proposals and use software to assemble preliminary quotes
Request and assemble documentation required for firm rate proposals
Serve as a liaison between groups/brokers and carrier underwriters communicating both verbally and through written communication
Maintain enrollment information on new and renewing clients via an electronic claims management system
Communicate with vendors regarding new and renewed groups
Learn and understand eligibility requirements for assigned clients and make enrollment changes based on those requirements
Provide health statements, applications, and other enrollment documentation to insurance carriers as needed
Notify vendors of enrollments and terminations
Understand and mail compliance notices; HIPAA privacy practices, Women?s Health Care Act, SPDs, Medicare Part D, etc.
Work as a liaison between brokers and internal departments to resolve client issues or concerns
Interface with clients, brokers, and internal departments on a routine basis both via phone and email
Request new and replacement ID cards; approve changes to card templates as needed
Follow up on all inquiries
Provide timely and accurate responses to all parties
Data entry
Provide general administrative and clerical support
Abide by HIPAA regulations and other privacy policies at all times
Maintain an exemplary attendance and tardiness record following established company guidelines
Demonstrate ability to work well with other departments and all Medova staff members
Complete other tasks, as assigned

High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year professional office experience

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time
Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-4pm (general)
At least a 30 minute lunch required daily
