Leasing Consultant Job Opening in Birmingham, Alabama - Merion Residential - Simply apartment living at its best! We are offering an amazing full-time opportunity for an energetic professional with exceptional sales and/or customer service skills. We are seeking to hire a Leasing/Marketing Consultant to work at Trails at Cahaba River, a 400 unit Merion Residential multifamily community in Birmingham, AL. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, including weekends and evenings as scheduled.
Duties will include demonstrating and leasing apartments/space through sales and marketing efforts. Must have a thorough knowledge of the local leasing market, competitors, and be able to analyze market data, generate prospects, and promote the property through marketing initiatives. Candidate will work with the Community Manager to ensure the efficient operation and administration of the leasing office; this includes performing basic Accounting work.
The position offers a base salary plus the opportunity to earn commission. Qualified candidate will have a high school diploma (or GED), and at least two (2) years of successful direct real estate, retail sales, hospitality, or marketing experience. Must have excellent computer skills, and strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities with conflicting priorities. Knowledge of general Accounting principles is needed.
