Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Pathway Healthcare office managers are responsible for the daily operations of the medical and behavioral portions of the practice. Office managers are expected to lead a culture of encouragement and professionalism. This position will be responsible for EMR management, HR and personnel oversight including personnel file maintenance, hiring, firing and training, workflow management, policy implementation, and financial supervision. Office managers should have core strengths in communication, organization, and state and federal regulatory compliance.
*This position will also serve as a corporate assistant to the development and operations manager and upper management team. Job duties will vary based on ongoing and new projects. Candidate is expected to have professional demeanor and communication skills, experience in C-level interaction, great attention to detail, and be efficient in task completion. Candidate should be able to work well under pressure, be highly organized, and be a self-starter.
Office Manager candidates must be proficient in the following:
Financial analysis
Medical coding and billing
Workflow efficiency
Community relations
Referral management
Quality Assurance auditing
HIPAA and privacy laws compliance
License Requirements
Bachelor degree
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 lbs.
