Grodsky, Caporrino & Kaufman, LLP is actively seeking a Senior Accountant, Tax for our Jericho Long Island headquarters with three or more years of recent public accounting experience, who possesses a strong desire to excel professionally.
Senior Accountant, Tax responsibilities include:
Preparation and review of corporate, S-corporation, partnership and fiduciary returns
Preparation of complex individual tax returns
Tax projections
Research and consultation on various tax matters
Supervise, train and mentor junior staff
Communicate progress of engagements, issues and resolutions to clients through written and verbal correspondence
Anticipate problem areas of engagement and develop procedures to address relevant issues; keep supervisors informed of important developments and recommend solutions
The qualified candidate will:
Possess the ability to utilize, and develop an advanced understanding of, various tax programs and software
Demonstrate the ability to work independently, and as part of a team, always with a strong attention to detail
Exhibit high ethical standards and a strong work ethic
Requirements:
Active CPA License
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting
Three or more years of recent public accounting experience
