Community Integration & Residential Skills Trainer Job Opening in rochester, New York - Community Integration & Residential Skills Trainer Immediate need for a community skills trainer who will work 1:1 supporting a young adult male, who has a developmental disability. Some training is required through agency. Must have a valid NYS drivers license, reliable transportation and the ability to travel in the greater Rochester area (mileage reimbursed). Duties for this position are, but not limited to: assist at volunteer opportunities in the community, health & fitness goals, shopping, errands; job coach for current work; assist as liason between individual & the community; model appropriate behavior and follow Behavior Support Plan. Must be able to work in an independent setting, be creative, and have a sense of humor. Prior experience working with young adults who have a developmental disability required. This is a part-time position 15-20 hours/week. Hours flexible Monday-Friday 8 AM - Noon. This position is part of a Consolidated Support Services Plan.
