Pediatric Clinic Manager Job Opening in Houston, Texas - Plans, manages and monitors operations of the practice to support the administrative and clinical activities of the clinic.
Provides excellent customer service while maximizing clinical revenue through efficient, effective, and compliant procedures.
Ensures clinical quality, service quality and assist Executive Management with budget constraints to make sure they are maintained in accordance with organizational goals and objectives
Develops annual goals and objectives for the clinic. Assist staff in achieving goals via training and appropriate resources.
Ensure all clinic and lab supplies are ordered in a timely manner according to clinic needs
Hiring, training of support staff, managing daily activities of the medical assistants
Ensures adherence to policies and procedures for safety, health, and security of patients and staff.
Supervision of Vaccine ordering, storage in compliance with regulations, and Immtrac monitoring.
Assisting providers with medication refill authorizations, prior authorizations, referrals.
Delivering periodic reports regarding operational effectiveness and performance.
Ensures compliance with standards, laws and regulations as directed by regulatory and accrediting organizations such as, but not limited to, CLIA, OSHA, State and Federal Governments as it pertains to the medical clinic.
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times and complies with HIPAA guidelines
Requirements:
Bachelors in Healthcare Administration, public health, or health related field.
2-3 years experience in healthcare management related settings.
2 years in leadership position with staff supervision experience.
Strong Computer and database skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Able to manage projects independently and take the lead with little direct supervision
Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Able to work with people of diverse backgrounds
