Staff Accountant Job Opening in Albuquerque, New mexico - Coldwell Banker Legacy is a full-service real estate firm that maintains offices across New Mexico and Texas providing Residential, Relocation, and Property Management real estate services. Coldwell Banker Legacy is seeking a well-qualified candidate for the position of Staff Accountant.
Requirements of the Candidate:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
Candidate must have the ability to operate in a dynamic environment
Must demonstrate attention to detail, possess good judgment showing logical decision making
Computer literate with strong Excel skills
Familiarity with Great Plains, Quick Books and Sage desirable
Possess a hands-on attitude with the ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions
Understanding of A/P, A/R and general accounting processes and procedures
Proven ability to successfully manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Ability to work independently, as well as in a group setting
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Responsibilities Include:
Reconcile bank accounts from multiple accounting systems
Perform General Ledger account reconciliations, including multifaceted posting activity
Create reconciliations between systems and or processes
Prepare and post adjusting journal entries
Perform basic accounting functions for small related companies
Special Projects as assigned
