Inside Sales Representative Job Opening in Augusta, Maine - We are looking for a highly motivated individual to expand our customer base who is hard-working, honest, and has a can-do work ethic. This role will be responsible for increasing sales activities by cultivation of new customers and management of existing ones.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Sells the company?s products via telephone and email.
Generates customer quotes and written bids based on customer requirements.
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
Responsible for achieving individual sales goals.
Qualifies and follows up with sales leads, bids, and estimates.
Handles customer calls and inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner.
Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company.
Works with ownership and ecommerce team to identify product offering segments which need improvement and expansion to increase sales and competitive nature of company.
Develop a thorough knowledge of company products, website, policies and procedures.
Work with vendors and manufacturers to obtain product specifications and answers to customers questions.
Experience & Requirements:
Must have 1-2 years of sales or related experience.
Must have professional phone answering skills and be able to assist customers with equipment purchases and assist in navigating our website.
Highly organized with the ability to work with dozens of customers on a daily basis with varying levels of project complexities.
Well versed with the use of online ERP databases, website navigation, and other sales and customer relations based apps.
Strong attention to detail.
Pay includes base salary plus commission.
