PT Accountant Job Opening in Pembroke Pines, Florida - Children?s Harbor is seeking a PT Accountant. Must have a ?can do?attitude; able to work under pressure to meet various deadlines; capable of working independently with minimum supervision, strong analytical ability; detail oriented and effective written and verbal communication.
Job Summary: The PT Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the following:
Month-end close, creating journal entries, Interco entries, bank reconciliation.
Accounts payable and receivables
Monthly financial statement and supports
Annual budget
Annual audit schedules
Processing of Medicaid billing
Keeping a running track of certain grant expenditures
Updating existing accounting procedures
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Monitoring PTO accruals against system reports
Any other duties assigned
Experience:
3 years experience in full cycle accounting
Strong Microsoft Skills with emphasis on excel and pivot tables
Proficient with Quick Books - certification required
Job Type: Part-time
