Director, Account Management-Healthcare Payer Risk Job Opening in Westchester, Illinois - Innovista Health Solutions is an Illinois-based company with management services operations in Illinois and Texas. We are looking for a Director of Account Management in our Westchester, IL office. Innovista Health Solutions is a service organization that enables independent physician models so providers can access, support, and manage delegated risk models and stay independent while payers can diversify and strengthen their network.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides leadership and administrative oversight, program development, implementation and evaluation of an assigned portfolio of clients and account management staff. The Director, Account Management works directly with assigned clients and is responsible for the overall success, growth, retention, client satisfaction, and strategic planning of assigned accounts. Responsibilities include oversight of key functions including Provider Relations, Contracting & Network Development, Medical Management, and overall P&L for the account. As a leader on the Account Management team, this position assists and collaborates with others throughout the organization to assure achievement of organizational goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the Account Management Team to achieve identified measurable goals for membership, income, and service.
Actively partner with other operational areas including Finance, Claims, Customer Service, MM, and IT/Reporting to support client.
Lead regular client meetings to support client success.
Analyze client data to identify opportunities for improvement for existing lines of business.
Work with client, internal partners, and external payers to identify new opportunities for client to drive membership and profitability growth.
Provide effective leadership, strategic direction and business planning for assigned accounts.
Build and maintain relationships with key client leaders, physicians, and staff.
Proven client focus and delivers on commitments on time.
Articulates vision, establishes clear expectations internally and with client, and continuously measures performance.
Champions and supports process improvement to support client requirements.
Responsible for team planning and budgets.
Regularly interacts with Senior Management or executive levels regarding state of account.
Interact with providers, vendors, Members, regulators and other outside in a manner that assures a positive customer experience with Innovista.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of Bachelor?s Degree
5+ years of managed care experience including 3+ in a delegated commercial model.
Demonstrated knowledge of health care management.
Must have experience with IPAs and Networks.
Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of process improvement, population health, and health systems planning.
Sound understanding of financial statements.
Advanced interpersonal skills required to manage relationships.
Experience managing and motivating staff.
A passion for improving care and for fostering patient-centered, navigable, physician friendly care settings.
Ability to work resourcefully and creatively, to think independently, and to exercise sound judgment.
Demonstrated strong organizational, verbal, written and analytical skills.
Commitment to the corporate mission, vision, and values.
Positive, service-oriented attitude.
High level of integrity.
Strong computer skills including MS Office.
