Radiology Technician (RT) Job Opening in Myrtle Beach, South carolina - CareHere is seeking to immediately employ a Radiology Technician (RT) for our medical clinic in Myrtle Beach, FL. This will be a Full time position working 40 hours per week.
Duties
Prepare patients for radiological procedures. Takes X?rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials.
Logs radiological procedures, process routine documentation in EMR and logs.
Patient Triage which will include obtaining and recording Vital Signs (BP, Heart Rate and Pulse Oximetry).
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations; maintain the exam rooms in a neat and clean manner.
Document/chart patient?s medical information into the EMR (Electronic Medical
Record) system and maintain patient records.
Performs and documents daily equipment checks and calibrations.
Maintains and orders clinic supplies and equipment.
Maintains patient confidence and ensures confidentiality of patient care information.
Graduation from a Radiology Technician Program
Valid State of Florida CRT License.
Diploma or certification in medical assisting
Two (2) years of experience, preferably in a Family Medical Practice setting
CPR certification
Strong clinical skills
Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients using excellent written and verbal skills.
Strong computer skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
Friendly Personality and ability to work well as a member of the Health Care Team
