Part time Accountant w/ GROWING ENTREPRENEURIAL COMPANY !!! Job Opening in Portsmouth, Rhode island - Experienced Part time Accountant (5 years +) Based in Rhode Island
We are seeking an individual to help us out on a part-time basis with our FAST GROWING Company. We are a Company that prides ourselves on making an impact. This individual will be working directly with the Executive Team and be an integral part of the operations.
Primary areas of responsibility:
Accounting & Bookkeeping:
1) Basic bookkeeping and categorization in Quick Books Online
2) Coordinate and manage invoicing to customers in Quick Books Online
3) Coordinate and manage collection emails to customers on a weekly basis
4) Coordinate and manage processing of payroll on a weekly basis in Paycheck payroll platforms
5) Coordinate and manage bill pay and basic cash flow forecast
6) Monthly reconciliations and closing of the books
7) Keeping up with emails on a daily basis and keep all team members informed of progress
8) Work with Part time CFO on analysis and other projects
Administrative functions:
1) Assist and support the team with tasks and projects that come up
2) Keep an ongoing record of tasks and projects and follow up as to timing and completion
3) Keeping up with emails on a daily basis and keep all team members informed of progress

Required Skills and Experience: The fully qualified candidate will have the following experience:
Associates degree or higher in accounting
5+ years of directly relevant experience.
