Cost Accountant Job Opening in Providence, Rhode island - Large, domestic manufacturer of base metal and precious metal jewelry seeks an experienced cost accountant to perform cost accountant and financial analytical work. Position is full-time but exception could be made for great candidate who prefers 4 days/week part-time.
Responsibilities:
Review and modify BOM's, vendor pricing, and standard costs
Preparation of inventory files
Variance reports and final analysis on inventory
Analyze routings and vendor pricing
Update standard cost and material price changes
Prepare month end cost of goods
Variance analysis and sales margin analysis, etc.
Requirements:
Related experience from manufacturing environment
Advanced Excel, Access, Crystal Reporting
