Program Sales Manager Job Opening in Dallas, Texas - Event Mechanics Co. is a DMC based out of Dallas-Fort Worth that manages corporate meeting, incentive, appreciation and team-building programs for clients throughout Texas.
The Program Sales Manager is responsible for daily sales work, including partner and client development, responding to inquiries, discovering prospect needs, and offering interested parties useful information to resolve their needs. Once the prospect is booked with Event Mechanics Co., the Program Sales Manager works directly with the client to ensure the program is developed, coordinated and executed according to plan.
The ideal candidate has:
1-3 years of sales and service experience in the event, hotel, or convention fields
Experience working with prospects, clients, and vendors in a high-demand atmosphere
Interest in pursuing leads and opportunities to gain new business
Self-initiative to bring ideas and solutions to the team, rather than just problems and requests for direction
Ability to shift mindsets from sales to service while still keeping up productivity
Nights and weekend availability, in addition to regular work-week hours
Excellent on-the-job learning skills to pick up what's being put down
Familiarity of working in a small-team office structure
Wide knowledge of the local DFW corporate and DMC marketplace
Desire to grow with the company as opportunities develop in the coming years
Skills with Insightly or other CRM, Proposify or other proposal software, Mailchimp and Quickbooks Online
