Position Summary
The National Sales Manager works cross-functionally and collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to assure that Dome?s channel strategy and sales goals in the Sporting Goods, Hardware, Big Box and other defined new market sectors are achieved utilizing both their direct ?National? sales experience and Manufacturer?s Representatives.

The Dome Companies National Sales Manager enjoys a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and supportive environment. As part of Dome?s full-service commitment, The National Sales Manager takes on challenging job responsibilities that include building professional relationships with customers in the Sporting Goods, Hardware, Medical, Pet, HBA, Government, and education markets. This is a position where growth in existing accounts assigned to the National Sales Manager and opening new accounts in strategically defined markets will be measured to achieve success.

Requirement and Qualifications
Must have a ?hunter" personality that leads to new business opportunities.
Plan a multi-year strategy in new and assigned accounts that centers on top line and bottom line growth.
Capable of nurturing and developing ongoing relationships with our client base.
Willingness to prospect/ cold call/network/ set appointments to find new business markets for our existing brands.
Have exceptional presentation and communication skills.
Challenge the Status Quo and be creative
Must live within 200 miles of our corporate headquarters in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Accurately forecast weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales to management.
Responsible for having an I phone, computer, or equivalent.
Organized, continually meet completion dates on assigned activities and coachable.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office programs: word, outlook and excel.
Develop your own leads as well as work with ours.
Ability to analyze sales data and determine appropriate actions to improve account position.
Results driven with ability to manage multiple priorities and highly effective follow through skills.
>10 years? experience selling to Hardware, Big Box, Sporting Goods, Government, Healthcare, Pet, or contractor focused retailers.

Active participation in Plan-o-Gram changes.
Proven ability to increase sales via Line Extension at Big Box chains.
Proven ability to increase sales at levels above the buyer.
Bid experience is a requirement.
Experience working with independent reps and directing their selling activities.
Analyze market potential to determines the value of existing and prospective customers.
Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting sales profile, share and value opportunities.
Identifies competitive advantages and compares products.
Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing ?return on time invested?.
Skills and experience to recognize the influencers, decision makers and other stakeholders in the client organization, and to effectively articulate our value propositions.
Demonstrated experience in positioning and selling against the competition.
Passion and a commitment to exceed sales targets, and a proven track record of having done so
Coordinate with marketing to generate sales materials applicable to specific markets.
Represent company at trade association shows and meetings.
The National Sales Manager is required to travel; the average travel for this position is 60% with some variation based upon the demands of the business imperatives.
