Childcare Director Job Opening in Providence, Rhode island - Child Care Director

This position is 30 hours per week, limited benefits (access to healthcare and paid days off), split shift, 7-9AM, 2-6PM. The rate of pay is between $15-17/Hr.
Job Description: The Child Care Director is responsible to operate the program in accordance with the guidelines set forth by DCYF and to plan, implement, supervise, oversee and evaluate all aspects of the before/after school childcare program. Program serves children ages 5-12.
Key Roles: Youth Development, Safety & Security, Supervision and implementation of program, record keeping, and public relations.
Desired: Bachelors' degree in a field related to education, child development, human services or recreation from an accredited or approved institution of higher learning. Two years experience working with school age children in a group setting. Background in Brightstars a plus.
Minimum: Associates degree in a field related to education, child development, human services or recreation, from an accredited or approved institution of higher learning. Two years experience working with school age children in a group setting.
Must be able to pass all required background checks (nation fingerprinting check, drug screen); have or be able to obtain chauffeurs license.
