Dental Billing Support Representative Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - Ajilon Healthcare is assisting our client in Overland Park, KS with a search for a Dental Billing Support Representative. This is a contract-to-hire job. You will be joining an excellent team with great tenure. This is a stable company looking for stable candidates to come on board. You will spend your days communicating with a variety of people to explain the payment process and obtain payments. This is only 50% on the phones, the other portion of the time is pulling reports, verifying information, and figuring out the payment process for each payer. You may speak with a facilities director, family member, patient, and more. Excellent communication is required for this job. You will be compensated depending upon your experience, around $40,000.
Dental Billing Support Representative Job Duties include:
Communicate with your designated facilities through phone and email in order to handle the billing follow up.
Answer questions, determine correct steps, follow up with other designated individuals and more
Maintain excellent log of your communication and resolution for your facilities
Create reports in Excel and manipulate data as needed
Qualifications:
Knowledge of revenue cycle process to facilitate payments
Experience in a profession customer service atmosphere where you are comfortable on the phone and one the computer
Intermediate Excel, Word and Typing skills
Excellent grammar and written communication skills ? critical for success Tenured worked experience (looking for 3+ years at one company)
Knowledge of medical terminology
Attention to detail
