Medical Doctor - Physician Job Opening in Marietta, Georgia - A group of private practices in Metro Atlanta has openings for a Physician (General M.D./Family Medicine). We have multiple locations conveniently located around Metro Atlanta. We are seeking a local, hardworking, experienced, Medical Doctor. Our patient-base consists of injury patients suffering from spinal and extremity injuries. A background in any of the following specialties: orthopedics, neurology and/or interventional spine/pain management is a plus; however, we are willing to train the right candidate(s). Our compensation package is highly competitive.
*Please note, we are a procedural based practice, we do NOT handle chronic pain-management patients .
Job Summary:
monitoring and providing general care to patients in outpatient clinics;
examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions;
carrying out specific procedures, e.g. performing injections;
making notes and preparing paperwork, both as a legal record of treatment and for the benefit of other healthcare professionals;
working with other doctors as part of a team, either in the same department or within other specialties;
liaising with other medical and non-medical staff in the clinic to ensure quality treatment.
Requirements:
1 - 2 years experience as a Medical Doctor
Current, non-restricted DEA and Medical license for the State of Georgia
Dependable
Excellent communications skills
