Accountant I Job Opening in Concordville, Pennsylvania - Immediate need for an Accountant I for a large distribution company in the Glen Mills area. This is a junior level role requiring a degree or equivalent work experience.
Duties:
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions
Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels to ensure expenditure control
Resolve accounting discrepancies
Prepare monthly account reconciliations for bank account, accounts payable, and various other accounts
Prepare and enter monthly and year end accounting close process by completing various tasks
Analyze financial information and prepare General Ledger
Review and adjust journal entries and financial statements
Oversight of insurance and compliance filings
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or 4 years related work experience
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent Excel skills
