Accounting Specialist Job Opening in San Antonio, Texas - Eastern Retail Services, Inc., local management company for 23 Wine & Spirit stores in 7 states is immediately seeking to hire an experienced Accounting Specialist to become an integral part of their team! The candidate will provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including Accounts payable, inventory, general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
Full cycle Accounts payable that include processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
Matching PO invoices to monthly statements and entering invoices into accounting system.
Ability to process and import invoices at a steady pace.
Input credit and debits to the accounting system in support of the payables work.
Reconciles processed work by verifying accounting entries.
Qualifications:
Intermediate Excel that includes knowledge of v-lookups and other functions.
2 to 3 years of Accounts payable experience. (Full cycle accounts payable)
3 years of Accounting experience (knowledge of accounting procedures). Must know debits and credits!
Understand deadlines with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Full time position with benefits available after 60 days.
