JOB PURPOSE
The Director of Client Success leads HMA?s strategy as we build deep relationships with our new and existing clients. Every day they wake up thinking about what more we can do to delight clients, how we can suprise them with insightful advice, exceed their expectations, and deliver exceptional value. They work ?smart? to build a team whose mission it is to become an extention of our client?s HR and Finance team to create world-class health and wellness strategies. The Director of Client Success balances building deep relationships with a keen focus on driving top line revenue growth. They are a dynamic, fearless self-starter who develops and execute a multi-year plan with accountability for constantly innovating and improving mindsets, tools, processes and talent to ensure HMA is the ?go-to? benefits administrator.
Specific responsibilities include
Business development : building new business and expanding our offerings with brokers where we have existing accounts.
Client engagement : building a feedback mechanism so HMA can listen to our clients at all times.
Client advisory : as their trusted advisor, drive a clear understanding of their health, wellness and other benefit needs. Helping them develop and execute a multi-year strategy
Process improvement : think holistically about client service and retention, staff performance and development, and broker relations.
Partner engagement : develop an unmatched rapport with all of HMA?s distribution partners (e.g. brokers) so we earn their trust and regularly seek advice.
Essential Functions
Develop and drive a multi-year growth and 100% retention strategy
Achieve trusted advisor status with brokers and other potential business partners by delivering innovative products that lead to sustained revenue and membership growth
Build a team of ?customer success advisors? who clients and partners seek for their ability to listen and bring solutions that both manage costs and lead to healthier member outcomes
Establish a proactive, ?always solving client needs?, mindset and culture within the Client Success team
Renewal deal leadership, development, negotiation, and closure
Collaborate closely and effectively with Product Management and other HMA leaders to ensure alignment with client needs and business operations
Establish HMA?s reputation as a thought-leader in the benefit administration space by surfing the cutting edge of health, wellness and technology trends, developing a broad, valued-focused network, and ultimately become a sought out thought-leader
Work across Cambia and other business partners to ensure we orchestrate and deliver our solutions collaboratively and seamlessly to all we serve
Successful Candidate will have:
Bachelor?s degree. (Master?s preferred)
Five to seven years of experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in healthcare sales and account management in the insurance industry. Ability to develop a multi-year strategy and proven execution skills to drive sustained growth and retention
Experience building teams and leading change to spark innovative growth and create a new mindset
Experienced at working with executive leaders of existing and prospective clients and in coaching teams to effectively present and communicate at that level
Willingness to move fast and take calculated risks in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environment and to skillfully lead teams through change with inspiration
Outstanding presentation skills; experience in planning and more importantly executing critical client meetings. Has a deep library of content and ideas upon which to draw
Possesses strong and deep network and has ability to tap talent to drive team goal attainment
A minimum of five years of experience leading teams
This is a Seattle area based position and relocation is not available.
