Accountant Job Opening in Independence, Ohio - An architectural company located in Independence, OH is seeking an Accountant for part-time to full-time position with growth opportunity.
Accountant will assist with various accounting functions: payables, receivables, postings, closings, scheduling and updates, special projects, and other duties.

Job description:
- Review, examine documents, allocate and record financial transactions: vendor invoices and client payments; credit card statements; employees? time sheets etc.
- Maintain records of financial transactions by ledger balances reconciliation
- Generate monthly client invoices and related reports
- Provide financial reports and necessary documents to independent accountants for audit and year end reporting
Qualified candidates must have prior accounting and administrative experience, knowledge of accounting principles, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, must be computer literate (Microsoft Office), pay attention to details, be trustworthy and dependable.
Experience with QuickBooks and Excel is required.
