Fixed Asset Accountant Job Opening in Canton, Ohio - dlhBOWLES is currently seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant to support the Accounting and Engineering departments with fixed assets, construction in progress and customer owned tooling.

The Fixed Asset Accountant will also work on setting up and tracking of both dlhBOWLES tooling and customer owned tooling (quoted and actual costs); tagging of both dlhBOWLES tooling and customer owned tooling; monthly preparation of fixed asset ledger; monthly tracking and reconciliation of Construction in Progress and Prepaid/Unbilled tooling, submitting required documents to customers to substantiate tooling specifications and cost invoicing of customer owned tooling; follow up on past due customer owned tooling; lead and coordinate customer tooling audits; special projects related to cost of tooling and capital expenditures.
A qualified candidate will meet the following criteria:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
MUST FIXED ASSET EXPERIENCE and 3-5 years of general accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail required
Exceptional organizational skills
Able to work effectively in a team environment
Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Able to work independently
*We need someone with the ability to attach tags manually and occasionally move small tools (less than 20lbs).
