General Description:
Promote, maintain and improve relationships in the healthcare community for the wound care and hyperbaric units in a manner that is consistent with the mission, values and operating principles of CutisCare and client hospital. Enhance program visibility and educate the medical community on the benefits of utilizing advanced wound care and hyperbaric services for chronic wound care patients. Distribute educational materials, case studies and progress reports. Serve as a resource to the physician, nursing, and home care providers as to the benefits of chronic wound care and hyperbaric services.
Job Duties:
Educate the medical community about which patients, diagnoses and etiologies would benefit from the services provided.
Deliver presentations to physician, nurses and staff in medical offices and to hospital departments.
Participate in community health fairs and other promotional events.
Provide program information to the medical community by physician office visits, direct mail and media campaigns.
Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with physician community, agencies and other hospital departments.
Document activities, such as direct visits, outreach events and promotional activity.
Maintain databases with account list, mailing list and other information facilitating community awareness.
Skills:
Healthcare experience and knowledge of local physician market
Good verbal and written communications skills
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Confident, secure demeanor with ability to build trust with referral sources
Organizational skills
Sales/marketing background
