Field Service/Electrical Assembly Job Opening in annapolis, Maryland - Field Service/Electrical Assembly Miltec UV is looking for an experienced full-time Electrical Assembler and Service Technician to perform repairs, machine wiring, machine testing, lamp testing, technical writing and R&D testing at our Kent Island location and at customer sites, both domestic and international. Less than 20% travel. Essential Duties: Advanced machine wiring techniques to include cutting, terminating, soldering and crimping wire and knowledge of wire/cable size and type for each application. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and electrical test equipment. Industrial Machine wiring, (high voltage / low voltage), PLC wiring. Testing and repair of UV equipment. Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Travel to customer sites, both domestic and international to perform field service on UV equipment Write field service reports in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Demonstrated ability to communicate in high level technical communication with staff members and customers regarding all related materials 3 years experience in basic machine wiring Associate's Degree in Science, Engineering, or Technology Good safety work ethic Experience with milling machine and lathe Ability to lift 75 lbs.
