Financial Accountant-West Job Opening in Houston, Texas - The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant/Upstream oil and gas exploration experience mandatory
Responsible for timely preparation of Financial Statements including strong GAAP reporting.
Supports the financial reporting close process.
Performs monthly and quarterly variance analysis and account reconciliations.
Prepares monthly calculations associated with ARO & Derivatives.
Performs calculations associated with O & G Property, DD& A
Prepares/assist with LOE, CAPEX accruals and other amortization schedules as needed.
Prepares client financials.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in accounting
CPA or progress towards CPA is a plus
5 plus years in the Oil & Gas E & P industry is required.
Proven financial reporting experience\Joint interest Billing and Revenue experience
Skills
Prefer Bolo System experience
Experience with Microsoft suite-Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to multi task and excellent written and oral communications
