Business Analyst Job Opening in Austin, Texas - Desired Candidate:
The role of Business Analyst will include, but will not be limited to, assisting the current support structure within the organization, developing and growing existing market opportunities, identifying new business opportunities? and overall aiding the growth and development of BRCG mission and team.
You'll be responsible for how we analyze data, create content, accounts payable and receivable management. You must be comfortable with independent, self-directed and team-based projects, in which you?ll focus predominantly on execution.
You will be required to know how to use Excel (including Pivot Tables) and preferably Tableau.
Together we empower Clients with business intelligence through accounting, analytics and advisory based decision support so Clients can focus on their people, products and customers first.
The ideal candidate tasks will include the following:
Assist in establishing the organization's data warehouse vision, strategy, process, and governance.
Develop reports, dashboards and interactive visualizations
Work with the Data Architect on the data integration and data modelling.
Researching information to build supporting arguments for your reports
Researching information to fuel informative client portfolios, and consumer reports.
Using Excel to organize data and to extract valuable information to answer specific questions
Using Tableau to design tables, charts, and dashboards to clearly present the results from the analysis
Extracting Google Adwords data and analysis which campaigns have the most successful metrics
Understanding accounting principles that allows you to successfully manage our accounts receivable and accounts payable
Requirements:
Recent graduate/ entry level candidate
Undergraduate degree in an IT, Business, or Engineering discipline.
Experience working collaboratively in a team of fast-thinkers
Fluency with Excel, Google (Docs, Slides), and preferably Tableau
Familiarity with writing analysis reports
Exceptional time & project management skills
Strong communication skills
High proficiency in Excel.
General knowledge of database management (SQL)
General knowledge of programming language.
Analytical and problem solving skills
Organizational, planning, and project management skills
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
