Job Summary
A hospital client in Hartford, CT is looking for an experienced Accountant. The Accountant will perform specialized and technical accounting functions with minimal supervision and provide assistance to Affiliate & Financial Reporting Manager. This position may require working at an alternate campus. This is a full-time contract position. The Accountant will work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Required Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Accounting or in Business is required.
Minimum 2 years experience in account is required.
Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, verbal and written.
Must possess analytical and problem solving skills
Must be able to work on multiple projects
Must have excellent computer skills in a wide array of software applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Quick Books, etc.)
Must be available to work flexible hours during month end close and special projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare experience is highly desired.
