Inventory Management Specialist Job Opening in Onalaska, Wisconsin - General Description/Primary Purpose:
The Inventory Management Specialist (IMS) is responsible for a wide variety of activities to ensure accountability for the flow of merchandise into and out of the store. These activities include execution of the In-stock integrity walk, POS accuracy, direct shipments and return of goods to warehouse. This position reports directly to the Store Manager.
Availability This position requires FT availability, with a work schedule focused on Monday through Friday, but may require some evenings and weekends at times.
Responsibilities: ? Perform in-stock integrity walks for the store as per the walk schedule assigned to your location based off of store volume. ? Maintain POS integrity through inventory adjustments in the Merchandise Retail System (MRS). ? Communicate significant inventory discrepancy to management and the Regional Asset Protection Manager (RAPM). ? Perform regularly scheduled cycle counts. ? Perform Return Goods Defective (RGD) processing daily. Ensure compliance of procedures by auditing 10% of the total shipped. ? Perform all RTV?s and ensure they are processed through MRS. ? Verify, sign and update Centralized Distribution Center (CDC/vendor directs/MRS) ? Maintain all CDC/vendor direct shipment files. ? Required to research all outstanding vendor directs daily. ? Request and investigate POD?s on any outstanding directs over 7 days. Use shipper web sites to pull up and print POD?s prior to requested involvement by the Direct Receiving Group. ? Process transfers through MRS. Ensure shipment has taken place. Perform random audits and check-in security merchandise from manifest. ? Execute all initiatives per Company SOP.
Required Qualifications: * Experience in receiving systems/and or freight processing * Good problem-solving skills * Detail-oriented * Strong analytical skills * Ability to handle/prioritize multiple tasks * Good communication skills, both oral and written
