This position is located in the gulf states, Texas east to Florida.
Job Summary
This challenging position is on the USA Noise Sales team and has responsibility for solution selling and servicing several major marine, transport and commercial building industry customers primarily in the gulf coast states, Texas east to Florida. The Sales Engineer will be based from their home and reporting out of the Carlisle, Pennsylvania facility. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong entrepreneurial skills. The selected candidate must be a good communicator, enthusiastic, well organized, have proficient computer skills and possess the ability to establish strong relationships with customers and other internal and external business associates. The candidate must be fluent in English.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this role successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Sales and gross margin accountability
Ongoing sales forecasting and budgeting
Establish positive working relationship with end customers
Visit customers at their facilities for the purpose of selling, building customer rapport and/or training
New product/service introductions
Establish working relationship with customer base to meet or exceed their expectations
Inventory management (including raw materials), stocking agreements
Customer Satisfaction, Customer Intelligence Collection and Customer Activity Documentation
Develop financial, business and strategic analysis for division management
Look for opportunities to increase revenues, enhance profits and maximize the utilization of company assets
Trip reporting and internal communication with management utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Prepare presentations on business results
Customer relationship development and problem solving skillsIdentify decision makers among target account to initiate sales process
Maintain CRM Customer information

Work experience with noise control insulation, especially in a marine, transport or manufacturing environment would be a plus
Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems
Strong entrepreneurial skills and exceptional organization skills
Proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Exceptional communication (listening, verbal, written) skills
Excellent telephone sales personality skills
Highly energetic and a self-starter
In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Ability to work under pressure and excel in a in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
Ability/knowledge to review specifications and electronic drawings in review of customer quotes & order accuracy
Ability to define problems, collect objective data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion
Ability to positively interact; work collaboratively with diverse group of people at all levels with internal and external customers
Ability to contribute in creating and maintaining excellent customer relations
Ability to work independently and to organize, prioritize work and make appropriate decisions in scope of responsibility
Genuine, with high ethical standards, values, personal integrity, and honesty
Ability to travel approximately 40-60% local and overnight travel
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor?s Degree in engineering, business or a related technical field preferred
Minimum two years of work experience in a technical or process related industry
Equivalent sales or operations experience within the noise control, marine, transport or commercial building industries.
Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident of the US as direct work with the US Navy would be required.
