Internal Sales Job Opening in New Orleans, Louisiana - Looking for a bright, friendly, outgoing, and driven individual who is ready to start a career in the shipping / warehousing / logistics industry.
Comfortable with computer programs such as excel, email, and ACT. Professional phone etiquette and presenting sales proposals to potential new customers are must haves.
Act as Liaison between sales, customer service, operations, and our customer base.
Analyze rate structures and commodity mix using excel spreadsheets and other tools.
Create sales reports
Manage day to day communication with customers, prepare rate quotes and rate confirmations. Follow up from past quotes to get feedback and secure business
Maintain and update information in customer database.
Assist with Marketing strategy regarding website, social marketing, advertising, and other avenues to reach new and existing customer base.
