Manager Cancer Data Services Job Opening in asheville, North Carolina - Manager Cancer Data Services Hospital seeks Cancer Data Services Manager, Required Experience: 5 Years as a CTR at least 3 years as a supervisor or manager in a large Cancer Data Department. License Required: Certification by the National Cancer Registrars Association as a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR), Preferred License: CTR, RHIA, RHIT Preferred Experience: Has successfully managed a Large Comprehensive Community Cancer Program and passed at least 1 ACOS survey. Responsibilities: Manages all aspects of the Cancer Data Services Department. The Manager works closely with Cancer Program Leadership in providing support for and ensuring compliance through required documentation of Cancer Program standards established by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Assists the Director in annual budget, personnel and strategic goals. Manages and analyses clinical cancer data for the purpose of education, research, and quality outcomes. Required Education: Prefer BS in Health Data Management, but will consider AA, BS or BA Degree in Health data management or computer science. Completion of an approved Cancer Registry training program sanctioned by the American College of Surgeons, the Association of North Carolina, or affiliated programs. Preference given to experience in a supervisory or management role. Company offers excellent salary of 44.5K - $60K D.O.E. Paid benefit package.
