We are looking for a full-time Supply Chain Specialist to work from our corporate office in Idaho Falls. This person will be responsible for managing and tracking inventory movement and levels while forecasting future demand. Under the direction of the Production & Supply Chain Director, the Supply Chain Specialist will maintain and compile lists of types and quantities of product.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assess current orders and forecast future demand to provide adequate supplies
Track inventory levels and use sales ratios to create new production purchase orders
Manage and receive incoming inventory
Prioritize work and production flow
Assist with purchasing
Work with warehouse to maintain matching inventory levels
Manage out of stock orders and supply inventories
Enters and maintains purchase orders
Work closely with other departments to fulfill their production needs
Qualifications and Experience
Thorough knowledge of Excel, including ability to create formulas and pivot tables
Experience in production, supply chain and/or inventory supervision
Accounting experience preferred
Customer service orientation
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Prioritization and organizational skills
