Carrier Sales Rep/Logsitics Coordinator Job Opening in Alpharetta, Georgia - Serves as the primary support for our Account Managers in this 3PL Company.
Responsibilities Include
Source and procure carriers to cover loads, negotiating rates as directed and confirming shipping requirements.
Confirm locations of all active loads by conducting check calls and ensuring updated information is entered into carrier logs.
Communicate with the account manager on all loads, including any issues, to help ensure client satisfaction.
EXPECTATIONS:
Ability to resolve issues timely, excellent negotiation skills, strong problem solving and decision making skills.
Basic computer skills to include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to handle multiple functions and priorities with little or no supervision.
3PL LOGISTICS EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED
