Job Title:
Practice Manager
Summary:
The Practice Manager is responsible for managing the business operations of assigned clinic locations in accordance with Legacy policies and procedures. Ensures clinics are in compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations and in compliance with Medicare Rehab Agency conditions of participation (CoP?s). Works in partnerships with the clinical management team on delivering on daily operational tasks, identification of solutions to improve operations, and serves as a liaison between Legacy corporate office and clinics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following:
· Manages CoPs compliance for practice group
· Identifies and recommends opportunities to increase operational efficiency to Advisory Board. Leads implementation of approved improvements in coordination with operations management.
· Manages the day to day PRN therapy personnel needs
· Responsible for assuring personnel file content is RA/P&P compliant for all personnel in the practice group.
· Oversees on-boarding process for new hires and ensures timely completion
·Directs site start up (set up furniture and equipment) and recommends equipment and renovation needs to assure compliance with the physical environment, safety and maintenance requirements for a Rehab Agency.
· Oversees LHS P&P processes are adhered to for the delivery/receipt of patient admission forms, insurance, etc., including entry of data into LHS systems and uploading and recommends site specific procedures for protection of all clinical records.
· Conducts routine and unannounced RA compliance audits
·Assist the therapy team with marketing events.
·Explain therapy services insurance coverage and bill to patients and patients? family as needed and/or directs questions to appropriate billing personnel at the corporate office.
·Inventory management authorization for supply ordering and equipment recommendations.
·Manages equipment and supply ordering budget line items
·Assures compliance with equipment cleaning logs and annual calibrations throughout practice group.
·Conducts CMS mandated Annual Program Evaluation
·Act as a facilitator to promote the LHS program between the facility, the community, our patients, and our staff.
· Support LHS personnel in all areas of indirect patient care.
· Coordinates document management with Home Health companies and ensures completeness and acceptance
·All other duties as assigned.

· Bachelor?s degree in health care or business management field
· Highly organized
· Excellent computer skills
· Good oral and written communication skills, time management skills, stress management, detail oriented, professional behavior and image, flexible and diplomatic.
· Medical terminology knowledge
· Reliable transportation
· Minimum 3-5 years managing outpatient clinical operations
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises therapy personnel in terms of duties related to availability, punctuality, time management, and non-patient care LHS policy compliance. May have direct supervisory duties over hourly support staff.
Licenses:
Any certification as may be required by a specific state.
Driver?s license in good standing with full insurance coverage.
