We are looking for an entry level production artist with basic print and design knowledge. The artist is responsible for placing/proofing supplied artwork and preparing artwork for production. Artists work closely with our Customer Service, Sales, Pre-Press, and Production teams to get orders produced accurately, while delivering top-notch customer service.
Requirements:
Production Artist or Graphic Designer with 2-3 years of experience in print design or production art
Good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat) and Mac OS with willingness to learn new skills. Basic knowledge of pre-press standards and printing practices is a plus.
Organized and able to balance day-to-day tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Able to establish good working relationships within the art department and among intercompany departments
Superior communication skills (face-to-face, phone, and email)
Excellent organizational skills * Energetic and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Maintains a positive and professional attitude
Preferred Skills:
2-3 years of experience in Graphic Design and/or Print Production
Associate?s/Bachelor?s degree, Trade School, and/or experience in Graphic Design
