Revenue Cycle Support Specialist Job Opening in Lexington, Massachusetts - The Revenue Cycle Support Specialist will work closely with internal and external customers to increase payment collection and client engagement. The successful Revenue Cycle Support Specialist will demonstrate a proactive and service-focused approach to problem resolution and possesses strong interpersonal communication and relationship development skills. A key member of the billing team, you will provide support to the organization in all stages of the revenue lifecycle and resolve all billing and payment related issues.
Your day-to-day
Develops relationships with clients and vendors and acts as point of contact for revenue related matters.
Assists with internal and external customer calls.
Works with team members to resolve issues related to client and patient concerns.
Acts as a liaison with physicians and other employees to facilitate problem resolution and obtain necessary information.
Communicates regularly with external billing staff to resolve problems and gather information.
Communicates the resolution of issues with appropriate parties clearly and in a timely manner.
Assists Credentialing Coordinator with credentialing and enrollment functions as needed.
Assists with daily billing file quality control process.
Acts as a project manager for ongoing special projects within the Revenue Department
Performs general duties including copying, faxing, and scanning.
Perform other administrative duties for the Executive Leadership Team as needed.

Experience with handling sensitive situations and confidential information appropriately while complying with HIPAA regulations.
Confidence to analyze complex and changing circumstances and to identify when issues need escalation.
A comfort level with performing of repetitive administrative tasks where an eye for detail and organization are needed.
The ability to multi-task projects and prioritize workload appropriately.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office. Experience in electronic medical record systems is a plus.
Working knowledge of third party payer regulations and claim policies, including federal payers.
Two years of revenue cycle experience or three to four years in other healthcare industry administrative functions along with a strong understanding of the revenue cycle process.
