Patient Financial Services Representative Job Opening in Mesa, Arizona - Minimum Requirements:
1+ years of experience in medical billing, collections, accounts receivable and/or payment posting.
Experience must be within the healthcare environment.
Relevant experience must have occurred within the past year.
Must be experienced with computers (MS Office, Data Entry, EHR).
Customer service experience required.
Bilingual speakers are a plus.
Job Duties:
Process payments, adjustments, claims, correspondence, refunds, etc. in an accurate and timely manner.
Responds to incoming calls and makes outbound calls as required to resolve billing, payment and accounting issues.
Identifies trends in payment issues and communicates with internal and external customers as appropriate to educate and correct problems.
Reconciles, balances and pursues account balances and payments, and/or denials, working with payer remits, facility contracts, payer customer service, provider representatives, spreadsheets and internal collection/self-pay policies to ensure maximum reimbursement.
Provides assistance and excellent customer service to patients, patient families, providers, and other internal and external customers.
