Truck Sales Job Opening in Birmingham, Alabama - Commercial Truck Salesperson

Nextran Truck Centers has an immediate open territory to fill in our Alabama Volvo Truck sales area. The job involves traveling a territory in Alabama, meeting and forming relationships with commercial truck users and selling Volvo Trucks and Used Trucks. Compensation is a combination of salary plus commission with unlimited potential. The salesperson will be responsible for selling trucks to new customers while expanding business to all existing customers. Nextran has a complete benefits package including BCBS health coverage and 401K. We?re looking to fill this position quickly.
Candidates at a minimum should have some college education, be proficient with Excel, Word and most PC business applications. The ability to work with people and relationship selling skills are required.
Nextran will provide all necessary training to learn complete product line within the first year of employment. The company will pay for travel, hotel and any associated class fees required for training.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
Submit Targeting Plans, progress reports and customer intelligence as required by management including all data necessary to maintain a customer relationship management system.
Maintain current knowledge on all facets of the products and services Nextran offers
Actively pursue and support the financing of deals by exposing customers to the availability of such opportunities through the F&I Manager.
Attend continuous training on Volvo Truck products to stay current in a fast-moving industry
Conduct business is a highly professional and ethical manner at all times

Prior sales experience is needed. This is a sales position
High school diploma required, college degree preferred
Interpersonal selling skills required
Competency with computer skills
Excellent communication abilities are needed
Must obtain a CDL within 180 days
