If you are selected you will begin the screening process this month. Couples are tremendously thankful that women step forward to help in this situation. While the compensation may be helpful to you, they hope that you are also interested in donating because that is just part of ?who you are?. Interested in helping others & non-judgmental, you are able to see how important being pregnant & nursing is to some women/couples. Just as you may be a blood or organ donor, maybe you were a camp counselor or already have your own child; this is something that just feels right to you. The most important requirements are: You are a healthy, height-weight proportionate, non-smoking, woman, 21 to 30 years old with a relatively healthy family history. You are either currently attending college, graduate school or already have a degree. You are mature & responsible and have a slightly flexible work or school schedule, particularly in the morning hours. The recipient would love to find a donor who matches her physically and/or shares some other similarities. Her description is: Caucasian, 5' 4", 130 lbs, strawberry blond/blonde hair, green eyes, average shaped features (not too prominent, not too small), slight dimples. Her family background is Scandinavian, Irish and Ukrainian. She enjoys: travel, yoga, hiking, sailing ? basically any outdoor or water related activity, playing tennis, reading, cooking and volunteer work. Her best personality characteristics: great sense of fun & adventure, down-to-earth, nurturing, hard working, and focused. She obtained both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from very good schools and is hoping you might be accomplished academically as well. With our sincere gratitude, C&G MEDICAL & SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS & INFO: - you have knowledge of the health status or cause of death of your biological parents, your siblings, your parents siblings, and your grandparents. - you must have a Healthy Body Mass Index (BMI). Other medications will be reviewed. - Birth Control Pills, Nuva Ring, the Patch and non-hormonal Paragard IUD's are OK to proceed. - Cannot be nursing & must have normal/regular periods. Cannot have a hormonal Mirena IUD in place, cannot be on Depo-Provera, cannot be trying to get pregnant. - Everything will take place at a top local fertility clinic over the course of the next few months. - You need to have reliable transportation; preferably your own car. - A slightly flexible work or school schedule is ideal. You will be given plenty of advance notice for the appointments involved, but for about one week you will need to be available for approximately 45 minutes in the morning between 7:30 & 9 am. - $5000.00 compensation for your time & effort in the process, plus the knowledge that you have made a very distinct difference in the life of another woman/family.
