Dance Instructor and Choreographer Job Opening in minneapolis, Minnesota - Dance Instructor and Choreographer Jet? Dance Centre, located in Rogers, MN, is looking for a talented and committed individual to add to our staff. Our ideal candidate would be available for summer classes beginning at the end of June, returning for the -2012 season. This position would be approximately 20-30 hours per week throughout the dance year, including additional private lessons. Job Responsibilities: * Collaboration with the Studio Directors in the Development of dance curriculum * Choreography and Instruction to all ages (2 - Adult) and abilities (Beginner to ) * Instruction in multiple dance styles - Tap - Jazz - Ballet - Lyrical - Hip-Hop - and more * Classroom Management * Supervision and Work Direction to Assistant Teachers * Attendance at Community Performances * Collaboration with the Studio Directors in Creation and Execution of Year-End Recitals Qualifications: * Experience in dance instruction, choreography, and/or performance * Experience with child and classroom management * Values that match that of our family base * Strong interest and willingness to participate in dance studio operations (choreography, curriculum development, et al) * Undergraduate degree (in any discipline) strongly preferred.
