Application Developer Job Opening in Millington, Tennessee - DysTech is seeking a Developer for a long-term position in Millington, TN in support of a Department of Navy project.
Position Description:
This position is involved w/providing application support to multiple Department of Navy applications.
? Must have experience as a web based application engineer/developer using Frameworks, C#, Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server development.
? Support experience with following Classic ASP, C#, JavaScript, AJAX, SQL, Sharepoint and VB are desired.
? Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the MVC Framework
? Understanding of the software development lifecycle, strong analysis skills, experience in designing, developing, implementing testing based business applications.
? Programming in Visual , C#, , ASP, JavaScript, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, Adobe LiveCycle, Microsoft SQL, and "mobile applications" for Android and/or iOS as well as web site maintenance using , Business Objects and/or Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS).
In this position that selected candidate will be involved and gain experience with various current technologies.
PRIMARY DUTIES - The candidate will:
? Maintain, Design, develop, and integrate multi-tiered Microsoft based web applications supporting Navy Recruiting Command projects.
? Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation.
? Work as a leader or member of a team.? Review existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.
? Formulate and define specifications for software applications or modifies and maintain existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.
? Be responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
? Be responsible for quality assurance review and evaluation of existing and new software products.
? Develop system components including services and user screens
? Assisting with system testing
? Application and System deployment
Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree required with 3 years experience
Security Clearance: Must be US Citizen and be able to undergo a pre-employment credit and background check, a current DOD Favorable National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NACLC) or higher background check is preferred. Applicants that do not possess a current DOD NACLC will be considered for processing by the government agency for the required NACLC.
