Position Overview
Performs a full scope of cost accounting responsibilities in support of the manufacturing, strategic sourcing and distribution departments. Responsible for maintaining a controlled environment that complies with DFH?s internal control policies and GAAP. This position reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and dotted-line to the VP Manufacturing
Requirements
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
5+ years in a Finance/Cost Accounting role in a manufacturing organization, food or pharmaceutical goods experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting.
Exceptional computer skills with an emphasis on MS Excel.
Working Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; Sage ERP X3 and NetSuite OneWorld experience a plus.
High motivation and strong analytical mind; Must be a self-starter.
APICS certification a plus.
