Job Title: C++ Developer

JOB Summary :
Engineer in this role is expected to work closely with the software development and test team in providing root cause analysis and solution for the issues reported by customers.
The software engineer is also expected to assist software development team in performing sub-system and system level software verification testing.
The software engineer will utilize experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Participate in the software design, development and maintenance tasks on client project,
Perform application support working closely with the customer support team, to diagnose and resolve customer reported issues and anomalies,
Work as an individual contributor and take guidance from software technical leader,
Work in an environment of developers using open source development tools.
Expected skill set:
Experience with using Java, C++ and OOAD to develop Windows based client-server applications.
Experience with using relational database (Oracle),
Experience with Scrum/Agile development,
Experience with Javascript and Angular2 will be a plus,
Experience with software version management (Git),
Ability to work with a cross-functional team.
Domain knowledge in Railroad Operating Practices.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
