Medical Records Clerk Job Opening in Woburn, Massachusetts - We are actively seeking an experienced full time Medical Records Clerk to add to our team in Woburn, MA office.
Summary:
Responsibilities will include completion of all office procedures (copying, faxing, ordering office and medical supplies, data entry), conducting new hire orientation, monitoring of computer activities, receptionist duties and initial triage of calls. Other miscellaneous duties may apply. Medical terminology background is helpful but not required.
Qualifications:
Must be self motivated and have excellent computer skills as well as communication skills.
Must know the Microsoft Office Suite programs, have good customer service, experience answering multiple phone lines, good organizational skills and be able to multi-task.
Must have the ability to speak clearly and have patience and compassion when answering calls (patients, family members, etc).
Hospice experience is not a requirement but would also be helpful.
Requirements:
HS graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred
Background in healthcare coordination or similar scheduling responsibility a plus
Must have medical records experience as well as an experience working in a medical office
