Rental Sales Agent Job Opening in Myrtle Beach, South carolina - Thrifty Car Rental is seeking a Rental Sales Agent to join our Myrtle Beach team. The ideal candidate will have customer service and sales experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers, disclose rates, terms and conditions of rental and obtain customer signatures while using effective sales techniques to encourage customers to utilize service options.
Receive telephone calls and handle customer-related issues.
Complete, review and submit various reports to supervisor.
Maintain and update rental agreement files.
Balance money in counter drawers, complete deposit slip and place money in safe.
Enter and maintain information in location logs.
Maintain cleanliness of the rental office area.
Complete car exchange requests in computer system.
Communicate with shuttle drivers
Perform related responsibilities as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
Use effective sales techniques.
Knowledge and skill in the operation of car reservation software (training provided).
Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills with customers
Manage stressful and unusual situations while maintaining good customer relations.
Recognize the opportunity to present upgrades to customers.
Process all paperwork according to policies and procedures
Present a professional, enthusiastic attitude through effective communication skills
