Maintenance Technician / Plastics Job Opening in detroit, Michigan - Maintenance Technician / Plastics Impact is seeking TOP industry professionals to fill positions for our industry leading and valuable clients. Currently, we are looking to identify an experienced Maintenance Technician with a proven safety record and strong experience working in the plastics industry. Pay is based on experience. Position Summary: -Perform various mechanical duties to install and maintain production equipment using hand and power tools, particularly Krauss Maffei injection molding machines and Reis robots. -Perform emergency maintenance repairs during regular production hours, prioritizing workload according to production needs -Diagnose and solve long term mechanical problems on molding, paint and assembly equipment -Perform regular preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations -Troubleshooting and solving problems with various assembly equipment -Comply with all safety regulations and 5S standards for work areas -Perform all other duties as assigned Requirements: -High School Graduate or equivalent -Minimum 3 years experience in industrial maintenance -Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electric, and pneumatic machinery -Able to troubleshoot PLC ladder logic Duties and Responsibilities: -Standing -Manual dexterity -Use of power tools -Use of hand tools -Ability to lift objects over 70 lbs -Able to push or pull objects over 125 lbs -Able to work at heights of over 10 feet -Able to operate a forklift TO APPLY: If you are interested in this opportunity and feel you have the qualifications to be successful in one of these positions, visit click on the APPLY ONLINE tab.
